THOT SQUAD brought an unapologetic mix of hip-hop, humor, and swagger to ACL Live at the Moody Theater on July 17. The Flint, Michigan artist commanded the stage with an energy that felt loose and unpredictable while remaining completely in control. Heavy beats and blunt hooks gave the music plenty of weight, while THOT SQUAD’s personality and humor kept the performance from ever taking itself too seriously. That combination of confidence, comedy, and genuine charisma quickly pulled the Austin crowd into the set.
