The cold air couldn’t keep the crowd from showing up to see Sigrid at her Official 2019 ACL Fest Night Show at Scoot Inn as she wowed all in attendance. Every so often, there are artists that are unquestionably talented, and then there are those like Sigrid that come along and seem to be on a level beyond talent. Her lyrics, singing, and dancing kept the crowd fired up in her grip as she smiled practically non stop. There was not an errant note as her vocals juked effortlessly between her chest and head voice. While lots of artists switch beautifully between chest to head voice, she does it so cleanly and dynamically, jumping back and forth so strongly with an agility rarely seen. She masterfully drove the audience’s emotions, having them dance and sing along, but slowed things down as she treated the audience to a solo performance of Dynamite with her playing a keyboard by herself on stage as she crooned the tune with such sorrow it could just about stop a heart. Sigrid is a world class musician and I’m already looking forward to her next performance.
