Some bands put on a show, and then there’s of Montreal that PUT ON a show. They delighted and stimulated the visual cortex with countless costume changes that it was almost impossible to keep track of how many backup dancers were involved in the production. Kevin Barnes/founder of the band came out in a 60s go go girl-esque outfit with a voluminous short blonde poofy wig and later changed into a white t-shirt that said Parental Advisory with a #1 dad hat, and the final costume change was a Muumuu style butterfly dress with a green bob wig. From beginning to end, it was an indie electro synth dance party in the light drizzling rain.
