On May 8, 2025, the Tedeschi Trucks Band graced the stage at Austin’s Moody Amphitheater, captivating the audience with their signature blend of blues, rock, and soul. The evening was part of their “Live in 25” tour, showcasing the band’s dynamic musicianship and heartfelt performances. The setlist featured a mix of original compositions and carefully selected covers, including Joe Cocker’s “Woman to Woman,” Bruce Springsteen’s “State Trooper,” and Jerry Garcia’s “Sugaree.” Highlights from their own catalog included “Midnight in Harlem” and “Anyhow,” demonstrating the band’s ability to weave emotional depth with technical prowess.
Susan Tedeschi’s powerful vocals and Derek Trucks’ masterful slide guitar work were at the forefront, creating a rich tapestry of sound that resonated throughout the amphitheater.
