Austin, Texas – Emo’s Austin
Danny Brown has made his way back home to Austin, Texas and left everyone wanting more. This experience was beyond what I am used to and I am so glad to have seen every single second of it.
Playing on his home turf, Danny made sure to have everyone jumping up and down the entire show. From his openers all the way to the final song, everyone had unlimited energy and you can see the fans glowing with excitement. Starting off in a glowing box, Danny set the tone from early on that he was about to set the entire room off and that he did.
Having 19 songs on his setlist, Danny showcased his new songs from his new album Stardust and within seconds of the song playing every person knew every single word. A lot of artists that perform will play their new album but everyone is kind of waiting for the crowd favorites the entire time… This wasn’t the case for him. Each song was a guaranteed hit and not a single lyric was left unsaid.
My favorite part of the show was when he brought out both openers for songs that he had previously made with him on his new album. The wave of energy that hit me when he brought out Underscores to perform Copycats will go down as the greatest feeling of my life. Now I am a very short person, but I promise I was jumping higher than anyone else there.
The entire performance was amazing from start to finish and I am so happy to have experienced it with the best crowd I have ever witnessed. This is me telling you to listen to Danny Brown, learn all his music and go see him in concert. You will not regret this and you will thank me for years to come.
