On June 28, 2025, the legendary sleaze-rock outfit Dangerous Toys stormed Come And Take It Live in Austin, TX, delivering a 15-song set that was equal parts nostalgia and raw energy. Launching into their night with the punchy “Outlaw,” the band ripped through anthems such as “Take Me Drunk,” “Sugar, Leather & the Nail,” and “Gimme No Lip,” showcasing their signature fusion of southern swagger and glam-metal attitude.
Frontman Jason McMaster commanded the stage with gritty charisma, while the band maintained relentless momentum through fan favorites like “Bones in the Gutter,” “Ten Boots (Stompin’),” and “Queen of the Nile.” Deeper cuts—“Paintrain,” “Hangman Boogie,” and the riotous “Sport’n a Woody”—added combustible layers, driving the crowd into a frenzy that captured the spirit of their heyday.
The open-floor vibe of Come And Take It Live amplified the band’s ferocious performance, with headbanging and fist-pumping erupting throughout the venue. As the final notes of “Teas’n, Pleas’n” and “Scared” rang out, it was clear that Dangerous Toys had reaffirmed their status as Austin heavyweights—proving that decades into their career, their sleaze-metal fire still burns bright.
