On May 4, 2025, Billy Idol brought his “It’s A Nice Day To…Tour Again!” to Austin’s Moody Center, delivering a performance that reaffirmed his status as a rock icon. Taking the stage at 9:00 PM, Idol launched into a set that blended his classic hits with newer material, captivating the audience from start to finish.
The setlist featured fan favorites like “Cradle of Love,” “Flesh for Fantasy,” and “Eyes Without a Face,” each performed with the energy and charisma that have defined Idol’s career. A standout moment came with guitarist Steve Stevens’ solo, which wove together elements of “Over the Hills and Far Away,” “Stairway to Heaven,” and “Eruption,” showcasing his virtuosic talent.
Idol closed the night with an encore that included “Dancing With Myself,” “Hot in the City,” and the timeless “White Wedding,” leaving the audience in a state of euphoria. His performance at the Moody Center not only highlighted his enduring appeal but also his ability to connect with fans across generations, solidifying his place in rock history.
