Bio from sxsw.com: Started in 2009 as a group of two, who grew to five, but landed at three, Sons Of An Illustrious Father is the musical outlet of Josh Aubin, Lilah Larson, and Ezra Miller. Everyone trades instruments; everyone writes the songs. They’ve previously released two much-loved albums, two EPs, and have toured multiple times throughout America. Their sound is punk, folk, raw, and elemental, a mix they’ve summed up and named “genre queer.” The band will be releasing a new album in spring 2018.
