Shy Beast is a local band that captivated everyone in the audience at the Swan Dive for their EP release party. They are the perfect entertainment package of a polished electro pop rock band fronted by Mariclaire (MC) Glaeser; it was surprising they didn’t have a bigger stage. MC’s soothing crisp vocals direct her dancing and movements as the music comes to life on stage, even sewing in LED rope into her suit jacket. It’s no wonder she has a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in dance from the University of Texas in Austin, every piece of the music and performance was deliberate that night.
