The sun slipped off to sleep as Israel Nash began to serenade the crowd at Stubb’s. His smooth sound subtle at first then exploding like thunder on stage! The drummer went wild with Nash on their second to last song, bringing the cheering crowd to a rowdy roar and Nash began to reminisce about rainy days. Thanking Austin for being his favorite crowd to play to, Israel stayed how much he needs music to heal his soul and then announced the final song of their set. Beginning slow and steady at first he cast a knowing glance at the drummer then erupted into Purple Rain, paying tribute to Prince. This band can really jam and was a joy to watch and rock out with!
