Company of Thieves blessed us with a reunion after a three year hiatus, opening for Walk the Moon. Lead singer Genevieve lit up the stage with her vocals, singing with her whole body as the emotion poured out in dance form. Her unique voice was smooth with a warmth not often heard. If you could take Bjork, Angie Hart of Frente, and Regina Spektor’s voice and blend them together, you would be close to describing her vocals. Even when singing airy as if with a soft hush, her voice commands the narrative. Definitely a must see act.
